Our Story

Hey there, Tash & Julz here! The dynamic sister duo from Far North Queensland.

26 Candle Co is a family owned and operated business based in the rural township of Dimbulah, population 1500.

We were inspired to start our candle making journey after the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved sister Larrissa in 2020. Our name was derived from her love of roller derby. The number 26 was her jersey number, which the Roller Derby Association retired in her honour, #26 Metallissa forever xx. Every year during the month of September we donate 50% of profits for each product sold to the Brain Aneurysm Awareness Foundation.

The entire process from selecting scents to pouring candles whilst listening to Larrissa's favourite band, Metallica helps us connect with her and keeps her beautiful memory close in our hearts.

We source all our supplies from Australian manufacturers and our business philosophy is to align ourselves with local manufactures and artists who have the same values and visions as we do.
